BopFest is a jazz festival run by jazz musicians Nat Steele and Allison Neale, running from Monday November 19th to Sunday 25th 2018 during the EFG London Jazz Festival. It features a week of the best bebop and straight ahead jazz Britain has to offer, with a host of visiting US and European artists complementing the lineups. Now in its third year, BopFest has received great praise from audiences and reviewers for its unashamedly straight ahead programming. It's hosted in the award winning Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club & Brasserie in central London. The venue features a grand piano and high quality sound system, with cabaret style seating in front of the stage, with a capacity for 80 people, and a separate piano bar & restaurant where the support acts will be performing. The music is supported by Arts Council England.
Food – Although there is no obligation to eat, Toulouse Lautrec has an award-winning French kitchen, with a special jazz menu created specifically for BopFest – food and drinks are available during the support acts in the piano bar before the main show in the jazz club.
In the evenings there is a duo performing in the restaurant from 7-7.50pm, with food available from 6pm. The main act starts at 8pm in the jazz club upstairs. One ticket covers both events. On Sunday 25th in the evening timings are 6-6.50pm and 7pm, with food available from 5pm.
